ADI Qualification Process
Three key tests - and we've got you covered for each
Part 1 - Theory Test
A multiple-choice theory exam and hazard perception test. We provide study guides, online practice questions, and tutoring to help you pass with confidence.
Part 2 - Driving Ability Test
An advanced driving test demonstrating a high standard of driving. We will polish your skills to a professional level, covering test routes and maneuvers.
Part 3 - Instructional Ability Test
Assesses your ability to teach learners. Through role-play and real student practice, you will learn lesson structure, communication, and safety management.
How Long Does Training Take?
Typically 3 to 6 months from start to finish, but it varies per individual. Your dedication, availability for lessons, and practice will influence the timeline. We encourage a steady, consistent training schedule to maintain momentum.
Requirements to Enroll
Before you begin, ensure you meet the DVSA's ADI requirements:
- Be over 21 years old
- Hold a full UK or EU driving licence for at least 3 years
- Have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence
- No bans or disqualifications in the last 4 years
- Pass a criminal record (DBS) check
